Learn more about the new Digital Collections Image viewer and how it can transform your research

Join us at Whitworth Hall at 5pm, Tuesday 28 January 2020 for the official launch and celebration of the new University of Manchester Digital Collections Viewer.

Built in collaboration with experts from Cambridge University Library’s Digital Library team, the image viewer partnership has been led by Dr Guyda Armstrong, Faculty Lead for Digital Humanities. This was implemented in close collaboration with colleagues from the Research Lifecycle Programme, The University of Manchester Library, the John Rylands Research Institute, IT Services, Creative Manchester and academics from the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures.

Canapes and drinks will be provided on arrival. There will be an opportunity to network, followed by short speeches and a chance to try out the digital platform and experience first-hand how the Digital Collections Viewer could transform your research.

This event is free, but booking is essential. Please register via Eventbrite.

We look forward to seeing you there.
